For a business whose clients have a mixture of both for-profit and nonprofit missions, it would be naive to think these clients wouldn’t have a diversity of needs. MBA Services has done its best to address the needs of each client and over the past 10 years we have strived daily to make quality bookkeeping and accounting affordable, accessible, and innovative for all we are privileged to serve.
The business world is ever-evolving so to be stuck in old ways or the protocols of the past is dangerous. The idea of “work” itself has been amended. An office space isn’t necessarily real estate anymore and work doesn’t have to be done in person. In fact, a lot of today’s work can be handled virtually from anywhere on the planet. This allows for flexibility and cost controls that are necessary to stay competitive in the current business climate. While keeping all of this in mind, MBA Services has developed a trio of signature programs that are tailored to the specific needs of each client.
The Signature Programs
One of our top priorities is anticipating our clients’ needs. Instead of being reactive and dictating the rules of engagement as many accounting firms have done in the past, we routinely strategize about effective affordable service delivery and how to package these strategies to keep our clients both in “the black” and the “driver’s seat”.
Quarterly Financial Review: This program allows sole proprietors and entrepreneurs who may not need monthly financials to have the reassurance of a professional service that has their back every quarter. Four times a year clients have access to an accounting professional to discuss and review documents, trends, cash flow, and other potential issues, at a locked-in, budget-friendly rate.
Retainer Program: With our retainer program, our clients can anticipate their annual accounting budget to the penny as we assess immediate business needs and ultimate business goals. We can help clients budget and save money, with few surprises. This program gives clients direct access to a personal accountant, one who is ready to tackle the client’s needs and answer any questions they may have, with the assurance they will never overspend on this business necessity.
Nonprofit Management Assistance Program: As mentioned earlier, different businesses have different needs, and this is definitely the case for nonprofits. The nonprofit management assistance program is designed specifically for nonprofits in need of help–not just with financials but also with grant management, human resources management, budgeting processes, and other assistance.
Along with our signature programs, we now also have the ability to work with clients all over the country thanks to significant improvements in our information technology department. We’ve made these changes as a way to check and balance ourselves and hopefully make our firm the accounting team your parents wish they had “back in the day”. The advancement in our business methods has helped us remain competitive by keeping our fees low and continually growing our online presence and service delivery.
These strides are only possible because of the support and loyalty of you, our clients, Balance Sheet subscribers, collaborative business partners, family, and friends who likewise believe in our mission:
To Promote and Support the Financial Health and Business Management of Entrepreneurs, Small Businesses, Nonprofits, and Associations
Your support over the past decade has made possible every accomplishment and success story we have and we thank you 10 times over for being a part of our team!
